A - activating events

C - consequent emotion that we feel through our interpretation

Divide life into two spheres:
Those things that we don’t have control over, and those that we do.
What were the ancient Greeks methods for creating habits?
Using maxims (catch phrases) and repeating them ex. "Know yourself"
