what are the types of Von Willebrand Disease ?
A
o Type 1 – partial reduction in vWF (most common)
o Type 2 – abnormal form of vWF
o Type 3 - there is NO von Willebrand factor

signs and symptoms of von willebrands syndrome?
A
• Easy bruising • Epistaxis - hard to stop • Prolonged bleeding from gums prolonged menstrual bleeding • Blood in stools • Blood in urine

- Prolonged bleeding time
- Prolonged APTT
- NOMRAL platelet levels
- vWF - LOW
