Dehydration, nutritional deficiencies, electrolyte and acid base imbalances.

A
Toxins, metabolic conditions, organ failure and neurological conditions.

What are the two vomiting mechanisms?
A
Neurological - stimulation of the medulla oblongata.
Peripheral - diseases such as those of the GI tract.

A
Volume and characteristics such as colour, consistency and smell.
