A

Dormat Volcano

28
Q

Give an example of Dormat Volcano.

A

Mt. Apo and Mt. Arayat

29
Q

Why do volcanoes erupt

A
  • a volcano eruption happens when a part of the Earth’s crust sinks into the mantle.
  • due to intensive heat, rock melts, and release gas causing the magma to rise in addition to extreme pressure building up surrounding the solid rocks.
  • as heat and pressure becomes more intense, magma rises until it reaches the main vent and finally flow out of the crater.
