A way of life held in a common group of people, including customs like government, language, behavior, and beliefs and values

A single attribute of a culture such as chopsticks

some practices, ideas, or innovations are not acceptable in particular cultures. For example drinking alcohol or eating pork

any pieces of information that can be displayed using numbers. Used to answer questions like “what” and “how often”

Answers questions like “why” and “how” focusing on subjective experiences to understand motivations and reasons

regions defined by a function. for example places like metro atlanta or the fan base of a sports team (if the function cease to exist, the region no longer exists)

a place people believe exists as apart of their identity (the south, middle east)

defined by governmental or administrative boundaries
