CN III (Parasympathetic fibres)
What two muscles control the diameter of the pupil aperture?
Constrictor pupilae and dilator pupilae
Where is the CP muscle located?
At the pupillary border
What is the innervation of the CP muscle?
CN III (Parasympathetic fibres)
Where is the DP muscle located?
Radially running in the iris
What is the innervation of the DP muscle?
Innervated by sympathetic fibres from plexus around blood vessels

Arise from the apex of the orbit and form a fibrous ring

The floor of the orbit anteriorly
Where do the oblique muscles insert onto?
The posterior of the sclera
What small muscle lies just superiorly to the superior oblique?
Levator palpebrae superioris (LPS) which runs to the upper eyelid

What two types of strabismus are there?
Estropia (convergent) and estropia (divergent)
What are the two functional consequences of strabismus?
Amblyopia (lazy eye) and/or diplopia
