What should be done when checking the micron level?
The pump should be isolated from the system.
What is the purpose of performing a vacuum/dehydration on the system?
To remove non-condensibles like air, nitrogen and moisture from the system.

500 microns
When a system is evacuated to sub-atmospheric pressures, what should be done before opening the system to the atmosphere?
The vacuum should be broke with nitrogen.
