Wage levels are forced down (especially in unskilled work)
Unemployment is more likely for American born citizens ( lead to resentment and violence)
Cost the taxpayer (more dependence on welfare and illegals don’t pay tax but take money)

A

USA PATRIOT ACT 2001 - more reasons to stop people entering US, can declare aliens terrorists and detain them for unspecified time. Increased border control.
SECURE FENCE ACT 2006 - bush built a 700 mike fence on the Mexican border to “protect”
DACA 2012 - Obama introduced to stop the deportation of young people who had graduated high school, served in the military and didn’t have a criminal record allowing them to come out of the shadows. Trumps threats.
