What is the blood supply of the urinary bladder?
Arterial - superior and inferior vesical arteries from the internal iliac artery
Venous - to vesical venous plexus > internal iliac vein
What is the nerve supply of the detrusor muscle?
Sympathetic - inhibits contraction of the muscle (L1, L2)
Parasympathetic - stimulate contraction of the muscle (from S2 - S4)
What are the most common bladder cancers?
TCC
SCC

Adenocarcinoma
What is the most common presentation of bladder cancer?
Painless haematuria
What are the risk factors for bladder cancer?

How does the ureter enter the bladder?
At the base of the bladder at the corner of the trigone

Cover the superior surface and the upper part of the posterior surface
