Arterial - splenic artery from the coeliac trunk
Venous - splenic vein to the SMV to the portal vein

Describe the course of the splenic arteries
A
Arise from the coeliac trunk - pass to the left above the upper border of the pancreas - pass behind the stomach, separated from it by the lesser sac > passes with the lien ligament > gives terminal branches inside the hilum of the spleen
supplies the spleen, the pancreas and the stomach
