  • on average, the most deprivation is in the north of the uk, mainly in the major cities such as Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle
  • along the east coast as business is seasonal and therefore their income is not consistent
  • the least deprived areas are around London and also the center of England.
  • lots of deprived areas in London, mostly the north east
