Hawkins Kennedy Test
elevate the arm 90 degrees forward flexion
rest it on my arm
perform passive internal rotation
Neer Test for shoulder impingement
stabilize the patient’s scapula with one hand, while passively flexing the arm while it is internally rotated.

tenderness is a highly sensitive test for scaphoid fracture

Painful arc test
0-20° = full thickness tear of supraspinatus tendon
20-40° = axillary nerve damage
40-60° = Frozen shoulder
60-120° = Subacromial painful arc
120-180° = Acromioclavicular painful arc
Winging of Scapula
Get patient to push against your hand
Scapula will wing outwards if injured
Golfers and tennis elbow
Flexion
Extension
Pronation
Supination
Fallons test
Place back of hands together in front of pt and hold for 60 sec
Telescoping of the thumb
Positive test indicates scaphoid fracture if painful
