What causes depression of the scapula?
latissmus dorsi, pec major & minor
What causes elevation of the scapula?
trapezius, levator scapulae, serratus anterior
What causes retraction of the scapula?
trapezius, rhomboids & latissmus dorsi
What causes protraction of the scapula?
levator scapulae, serratus anterior
What causes external rotation of the scapula?
deltoid, teres minor, infraspinatous
What causes internal rotation of the scapula?
deltoid, pectoralis major teres, latissmus dorsi
What causes extension of the shoulder?
posterior deltoid, latissmus dorsi and teresmajor
What causes flexion of the shoulder?
anterio deltoid, pectoralis major and coracobrachialis
What causes abduction of the shoulder?
suprapinatous –> deltoid –> trapezius and serratus anterior
What causes adduction of the shoulder?
pectoralis major, latissmus dorsi and teres major
What causes internal rotation of the shoulder?
subscapularis, pectoralis major, latissmus dorsi, teres major and anterior deltoid
What causes external rotation of the shoulder?
infraspinatous and teres minor
What are the rotator cuff muscles?
supiraspinatous, infraspinatous, subscapularis and teres minor
What are the muscles of the anterior arm?
biceps brachii, brachialis, coracobrachialis
