Ball & socket
Ligaments: glenohumeral, coracohumeral, transverse, capsule & dependent pouch, coracoacromial
Bursa: subdeltoid, infraspinatus, subacromial
Stabilisers at terminal ranges:
- Superior GH lig= 0* @ max adduction
- Middle GH lig= 45-60*- abduction, prevents anterior dislocation
- Ant band of inf GH lig = max abduction and external rotation
Other stabilisers/potential dislocators: latissimus dorsi, teres major, pec major, biceps
