What are the types of reproduction?
Asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction
What is Asexual reproduction?
No sexual intercourse, the original organism creates a copy of itself. The resulting offspring is genetically identical to its single parent.
What is Parthenogenetic organism?
An organism able to reproduce Asexually
What is sexual reproduction?
The production of new living organisms through the meeting of a sperm and an egg (sexual intercourse). The offspring has characteristics from both parents and some unique characteristics.

What are the pros of Asexual reproduction?
It is quicker than sexual reproduction
And the offspring is already suited to the current environment.
What are the cons of Asexual reproduction?
If the environment changes the organisms will not be able to survive.
If the parent unable to fight against a disease then the offspring will also be unable to.
What are the pros of sexual reproduction?
Offspring has greater variation.
More organisms are likely to survive if conditions change.
Survival of the fittest.(organisms best adjusted to their environment are the most successful in surviving and reproducing).
What are the cons of sexual reproduction?
More time consuming process.
