Tertiary consumers
How much does energy pass through organisms as they eat eachother
10%
Explain the mutualism relationship
Two different species in which each organism benefits from the interaction in some eay
Competition
Between organisms in which one is harmed when birth are trying to use the same resource related to growth, reproduction, or survival
Predation
Between two organisms predator and prey, where there is a flow of energy from one to another (being eaten)
Parasitism
Lone term, two species where the parasite gains benefits that come at the expense of the host member
Commensalism
Long term between two organisms in which one benefits and the other derives neither benefit nor harm
Do predators affect the ecosystem they’re apart of?
Yes they regulate it, some are called keystone species
How does one species affect an entire ecosystem?
When the wildebeest population skyrocketed you’d expect the vegetation to dwindle but because of the lack of grass the fires stopped spreading which brought more trees in dry areas and in turn brought many animals increasing the biodiversity
