Dementia
-Syndrome consisting symptoms that such as loss of memory, judgement and reasoning, and changes in mood and behaviour.
Delirium
-Acute deterioration of ability to maintain attention or focus, disorientation and fluctuating LOC and perceptual disturbances.
Ataxia
Poor coordination and unsteadiness due to disease in the cerebellum
Ballismus
Violet flinging movements of the limbs
Bradykinesia
Slowness of movement associated with Parkinson’s disease
Chorea
Involuntary movement characterized by jerky movements
Clonus
Alternate involuntary muscular contraction and relaxation in rapid succession
Dyskinesias
Impaired power of voluntary movement
Dysmetria
-Inability to properly measure distances with muscular acts and control muscular action
Dystonia
Involuntary muscle contractions that cause slow repetitive movements or abnormal postures
Intention tremor
Trembling of a part of the body when attempting a precise movement
Resting tremor
Tremor in muscles are not being voluntarily contracted. Normally when the limb is moved.
Rigidity
Inflexibility or stiffness
Spasticity
Increased tone of a muscle
Tremor
Abnormal, repetitive shaking movement of the body
