Performance is better because there are people doing the same task
Audience Effects (SF)
Refers to your performance being better because you are doing something in front of an audience

People striving for consensus within a group. They will set aside their own feelings for group unity
Group Polarization
Beliefs of a group are amplified
Social Loafing
Tendency of individuals to put forth less effort when they are in a group setting
Deindividuation
When you’re around other’s your thoughts/actions mimic theirs

Culture influences how you act in social situations
Social Trap
A situation in which conflicting parties by each rationally pursuing their self interest become caught in mutually destructive behavior
