Nephrectomy
Surgery to remove the kidney if damage is irreparable
Nephrostomy
Is a surgical incision into the kidney to drain the kidney artificially with a tube.
Urinary Divrersion
This is done when the balder is removed. A surgeon will form this diversion to handle excretion of urine that creates and artificial opening (stoma) on the skin surface.
Ideal Conduit
Collect urine in a portion of the intestine which is then opened onto the skin surface as a stoma
Cystectomy
This is surgery to remove the urinary bladder.
Urolithiasis
Type of kidney stone. Are hard deposits made or minerals and salts that from inside the kidneys.
Ureterolithiiasis
Formation or presence of a calculus or calculus in one or both ureters.
Lithotripsy
Is a procedure that uses shock waves to break up stones in the kidney and parts of the ureter.
Renal Angiogram
Is an imaging test to look at the blood vessels in your kidneys.
Renal Biopsy
Is a procedure to remove a small pice of the kidney tissue that can be examined under a microscope for sign of damage or disease.
