A
- abrupt movement of both eyes from one point of fixation to another (shifting gaze around)
- keeps new stimuli coming into our eyes so we don’t adapt and start seeing nothingness

A

mcgurk effect
A
if our brain has to contradicting stimuli then it will come up with its own third conclusion of what is going on
ex. if we see a mouth form the word “ba” but we hear the word “fa” then our brain might decide to perceive it as “da”
