Describe 2nd gen EFIS

A

Integrated w/ other systems (No “F”)
Integrated display System (IDS)
Electronic Instrument Systems (EIS)
Less displays, but each display can show more items

Takes information from all over the aircraft, puts it through a symbol generator (SG) (Master computer) then projects it onto display systems when prompted
