bacon’s rebellion

A

in 1676-1677, bacon led poor people and indentured servants and stuff against berkeley because berkeley refused to protect them against the natives and so naturally, they rebelled, this instilled fear into people as mass destruction was caused, and this led them to (eventually) replace indentured servitude with slavery.
