known breast CA, known endometrial CA, genital bleeding, liver disease, dvt, prego
What is first, second, line therapy for menopause symptoms?
1st (with uterus) continuous combined therapy 2nd if unable to tolerate PO can try vaginal, transdermal 3rd: increase dose. If decreased libido, add testosterone
When does osteoporosis occur?
when resorption > remodeling
what are 3 types of osteoporosis?
Type I post menopausal: Ages 51-75 due to decreased estrogen-vertebrae and distal femur most common Type II senile >70. Hip, pelvic, vertebra. Type III secondary to other meds or diseases
