General adaption syndrome
○ Alarm- roughly lasts around 15 minutes. Involuntary

- “panic” attack- feel a lot of fear

Health Behvaiours
major cause of death, health disease, diabetes, cancer, mesolimbic
Prosocial positive coping
rationalization, assertiveness, mediation, physical (relaxation and breathing, exercise, time-management), emotional (social support, communication, emotion release), cognitive (constructive thinking, distraction, task-oriented mindset, acceptance)
Positive regard
someone thinking of you in good light, showing you kindness and respect.
conditional: you are only given this regard if you earn it through tasks or duties for others.
Congruence
adaptability, no inner conflict, support for growth motivation
