Nationalist Terrorism
terrorism with the aim of achieving statehood
Revolutionary Terrorism
seek to completely abolish a political system and replace it with new structures
Subrevolutionary terrorism
does not aim to overthrow an existing regime but to modify its structure
Establishment terrorism (i.e. state-sponsored terrorism)
terrorism employed by the government of factions within the government against its own citizens, factions within the government, or foreign governments and groups
