A

Fast - It is much faster to access than secondary storage.
Expensive - More expensive than secondary storage
Volatile - It is not permanent

A

Read only - Made from flash memory, means that its contents cannot be changed easily. Stores the BIOS instructions (Load an operating system, check the system for errors)
Non-volatile - its contents are permanent
