- OG optical storage
- Can store around 700 MB
- Very cheap to produce

- Used to store high definition videos or games.
- Can store around 25GB

What different versions of optical storage are there?
A
- Write once (R) can only be written once (duh)
- Re-writable (RW) can be written and changed whenever needed, used for backups that may be updataed
- Read only memory (ROM) can only be read (the manufacturer writes the data first).
