A

Henry blamed Cromwell for the failure of his marriage to Anne of Cleves and wanted him to be punished.

A

Henry was too ill to work so Anthony Denny a member of the privy council and William Paget the private secretary helped rule for henry.This left England being ruled by Faction and set up an issue for King Edward.

Why was Denny in power a issue?

A

Denny had access to the king’s private chambers which meant that he had easy inside access to private information and Paget had control over who the king could talk to, meaning he could manipulate the information the king received.

Court of general surveyors - Handled ex monastic lands before amalgamated into Court of Augmentations

Court of wards - Collected money from the estate of a minor when they inherited land

A

Cromwell sent out commissioners to survey the value of the church and land>gave them a reason to shut the monasteries
