  • Services books were being used
  • Churches were changed (less decoration)
  • Was a legal protestant country
  • Second prayer book was made legal by the second act of uniformity used the term ‘remembrance’ to show transubstantiation was gone and it was just communion in both kind now
  • As the second prayer book was just portestant it did not create any confusion as to what religion the country was
  • It was being welcomed in London and east anglia.As london is the capital this shows a large population people welcoming it
  • There was no demand for the pope to return

  • 27% of people in England were protestant throughout Edwards whole reign
  • removal of imagery took a year (proclamation had to be issued )

  • By april there was some signs on improvement (not a massive threat)
  • By May his physicians predicted a full recovery
  • In late May he suffered a serious relapse by contacting septicemia
  • He died on 6th July.
