what are the counselling points for rifampicin?
- discolours soft contact lenses and bodily fluids orange-red
- enzyme inducer therefore CPY450 interactions
what are the counselling points for isoniazid?
- peripheral neuropathy - given prophylactic pyridoxine
- enzyme inhibitor so CYP interactions
what should you counsel patients for signs of in pyrazinamide?
hepatotoxicty (abdo pain, dark urine, N&V)
what are the counselling points for ethambutol ?
visual impairment/ocular toxicity
