Protracts shoulder, elevated ribs (deep to the Pectoralis major)

Protects shoulder (under Pectoralis major, serrated muscle)
Deltoid
Abducts arm (shoulder muscle)
Supraspinatus
Abducts arm (above scapula, rotator cuff)
Infraspinatus
Abducts arm (under scapula, rotator cuff)
Biceps brachii
Flexes elbow (anterior upper arm)
Brachialis
Flexes elbow (deep to biceps brachii)
Triceps brachii
Extends elbow (posterior upper arm)
