- faulty mechanics- structural/anatomic

What are common muscular imbalances with trochanteric bursitis?
A
- tight TFL/ IT band –> Escessive hip IR
- weak external rotators
- may see foot pronation
- slouched posture
- rectus femoris and hamstrings imblanced
- stretched ilopsoas
- weak gluteus medius
- weak gluteus maximus
- may see IR femur, genu recurvatum, pes valgus
- flight back posture
- tight gluteus maximus, tight IT band
- *overuse of TFL rather than gluteus medius
- *overuse of hamstrings rather than glut max

A
- correction of imbalances and faulty mechanics
- look at the entire chain
