- Avoid heavy lifting for 6 weeks
- Do not use over 2 lbs when increasing endurance (high reps)

- avoid antigravity elbow extension and stretching of the triceps for 6 weeks to protect the reattachment of the triceps
- patient should avoid lifting/carrying heavy objects with the operated UE to prevent loosening of the components
