  • pain over A1 pulley (MC head) and clicking sensation
  • triggering (sticking of finger in flexion)
  • feel nodules at A1
  • can occur at any age
  • often middle and ring fingers

management

A

conservative= often resolves spontaneously, splint to prevent flexion
injection (2)
surgery with division of A1 pulley BUT NOT OTHERS
