presentation
A
- pain over A1 pulley (MC head) and clicking sensation
- triggering (sticking of finger in flexion)
- feel nodules at A1
- can occur at any age
- often middle and ring fingers

what do you need to distinguish trigger finger from?
A
Dupuytrens (this does not straighten)

management
A
conservative= often resolves spontaneously, splint to prevent flexion
injection (2)
surgery with division of A1 pulley BUT NOT OTHERS
