firm, smooth, rubbery cysts that should trans-illuminate
pain or irritation due to OA
discharge as filled with synovial fluid >10mm
nail ridging

A
needle aspiration (watch for volar ganglion radial artery)- common reoccurrence excision (usually for cosmetic reasons but will still leave a scar do not try to burst
