define
A
repetitive strain injury due to resisted extension at the wrist or enthesopathy

presentation
A
- 10-20% are bilateral
- pain over lateral epicondyle at attachment of forearm muscles
- pain worse with muscle stretching (middle finger and wrist extension e.g. opening jar)

diagnosis
A
Mill’s test positive
USS and MRI if diagnosis uncertain
NCS if nerve symptoms

Q
management
A
conservative= rest, physio, injection of LA and steroids and orthotics
surgical release for refractory cases
