presentation

A
  • 10-20% are bilateral
  • pain over lateral epicondyle at attachment of forearm muscles
  • pain worse with muscle stretching (middle finger and wrist extension e.g. opening jar)

diagnosis

A

Mill’s test positive
USS and MRI if diagnosis uncertain
NCS if nerve symptoms

management

A

conservative= rest, physio, injection of LA and steroids and orthotics
surgical release for refractory cases
