An assessment of the entire body in a non-rapid trauma assessment (typically en route to the hospital) when preliminary assessments and interventions are completed.
Detailed physical exam
The grating sound or feeling of broken bones rubbing together
Crepitation
A condition of the abdomen when it is being stretched, inflated, or larger than normal
Distention
Information gathered regarding the symptoms and nature of the patient’ current concern
History of present illness (HPI)
