24 Πᾶς οὖν ὅστις ἀκούει μου τοὺς λόγους °τούτους καὶ ποιεῖ αὐτούς, ⸀ὁμοιωθήσεται ἀνδρὶ φρονίμῳ, ὅστις ᾠκοδόμησεν αὐτοῦ τὴν οἰκίαν ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν·
24 Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be likened to a wise man who built his house upon the rock.”
25 καὶ κατέβη ἡ βροχὴ καὶ ἦλθον οἱ ποταμοὶ καὶ ἔπνευσαν οἱ ἄνεμοι καὶ ⸀προσέπεσαν τῇ οἰκίᾳ ἐκείνῃ, καὶ οὐκ ἔπεσεν, τεθεμελίωτο γὰρ ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν.
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and they fell against that house, and it did not fall down, because it had been founded upon the rock.
26 Καὶ πᾶς ⸂ὁ ἀκούων⸃ μου τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ μὴ ⸀ποιῶν αὐτοὺς ὁμοιωθήσεται ἀνδρὶ μωρῷ, ὅστις ᾠκοδόμησεν ⸉αὐτοῦ τὴν οἰκίαν⸊ ἐπὶ τὴν ἄμμον·
26 And all who are hearing these words of mine and is not doing them will be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand.
27 καὶ κατέβη ἡ βροχὴ καὶ ἦλθον οἱ ποταμοὶ καὶ ἔπνευσαν οἱ ἄνεμοι καὶ⸌ ⸀προσέκοψαν τῇ οἰκίᾳ ἐκείνῃ, καὶ ἔπεσεν καὶ ἦν ἡ πτῶσις αὐτῆς μεγάλη ⸆.
27 And the rain fell and the rivers came and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was her fall.
28 Καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ⸀ἐτέλεσεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοὺς λόγους τούτους, ἐξεπλήσσοντο ⸂οἱ ὄχλοι⸃ ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ·
28 And it happened when Jesus finished these words, the crowds were being amazed at his teaching.
29 ἦν γὰρ διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ὡς ἐξουσίαν ἔχων καὶ οὐχ ὡς οἱ γραμματεῖς °αὐτῶν ⸆.
29 For he was teaching them as having authority, and not as their scribes.
