A

seen in full term infants, presents as red macules/papules/pustules/wheals anywhere except palms/soles, usually presents at 24-48 HOURS post partum—but can occur anytime within 2 weeks. it is self limited

A

typically seen in young, black newborn males. presents at birth or shortly thereafter. presents in 3 stages –> pustules, scale, and hyperpigmentation. it is self limited

A

pustules and erythema over scalp and face. has a waxing-waning course. usually presents at birth or days to weeks of age

other subtypes: HIV, neonatal, and folliculitis seen in Japanese men
