think shagreen’s patch in TS and cutaneous lesions in Proteus syndrome & Buschke Ollendorff

congenital smooth muscle hamartoma
A
hyperpigmented plaque with hypertrichosis of the lower back/sacrum
Tx none needed
akin to Becker’s nevus histologically (presence of smooth muscle bundles in dermis)

nevus simplex “salmon patch”
A
very common (~50% of all newborns) variants include stork bite (occiput), angel's kiss (glabella) Most resolve with time except for occipital lesions Tx none needed, but may use PDL

dermal melanocytosis
A
seen in SOC patients
variants include Mongolian spot, nevus of Ito(trunk)/ota (face), and PPV
Tx none needed, but may use NdYAG, ruby, alexandrite basically q switched lasers
Sacral lesions tend to fade/disappear with time while other sites may persist
