1. GREET
   Good morning/afternoon/evening. We are conducting a traffic check. Please would you switch off your radio and engine. Thank you.
2. ASK FOR
   May I see your documents, please? I’ll need your driving license, identity card and other vehicle documents.
3. INFORM
   We will now/are going to conduct a safety check of the vehicle.
4. CHECK
   Now I’m going tp checl your…..
   lights/indicator lights/boot/tyre tread etc.
5. GIVE ORDER if items are not working
   You’ll need to get XYZ repaired as soon as possible.
6. RETURN documents
   Here are you documents. Everything ist fine and have a nice trip.

We’ll have to do further checks by radio. Please accompany me to the police car (patrol car).
