explain 3 reasons why regen plans can sometimes lead to conflict between diff interest groups
1- regen may bypass local people as they are not involved in drawing up plans because its often carries out by a legacy organisation with limited local accountability
2- plans may not meet the specific needs of a local community for instance, affordable housing and education and skills development
3- jobs in regeneration may be inaccessible to local people due to lack of skills/ education so people feel regen doesn’t benefit them

what happens when a rural area isnt getting regened
-brain drain in the area as qualified people move elsewhere

explain 3 reasons why regen plans can sometimes lead to conflict between different groups
- regen may by pass local people as they are not involved in drawing up plans because its often carried out by a “quango” ->[legacy] organisation with limited local accountability.
- plans may not meet the specific needs of a local community e.g, local community, affordable housing, education and skills development
- jobs in regenerated areas may be inaccessible for local people due to a lack of skills/ education. so people feel regen doesn’t help them out and improve oppourtunities
