Why are useful devices useful
Because they can transfer energy from one store to another
What is efficiency
The less energy wasted energy store them or efficient the device is said to be
How can you improve efficiency
By insulating objects lubricating them or making energy transfers more streamlined
Efficiency equation
Efficiency = Useful output energy transfer/Total input energy transfer
Or
Efficiency = useful power output/Total power input
Why is useful energy output not equal to the total energy input
No device is 100% efficient the wasted energy is used to transfer to useless thermal energy stores
What is one exception to the fact that no devices are hundred percent efficient
Electrostatic heaters or an exception as all the energy is stored to that useful thermal energy store
Ultimately where does all enters end up
Being transferred to thermal energy stores
