Define Psychology
the scientific study of behaviours and mental processes. Psychologists are health professionals, that do not have the ability to prescribe medications. They provide support to cope.
Define Psychiatry
the branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional and behavioural disorders. Psychiatrist are medical doctors, that handle more severe cases that have the ability to prescribe medications.
What is the differences between psychology and psychiatry?
Psychology uses therapy techniques to help overcome disorders such as depression and anxiety. Psychiatry has the authority to prescribe medications as a way to deal with severe metal illnesses such as bipolar disease.
Define Biology
is the study of living organisms which is divided into specific fields.

Describe the relationship between behaviour and mental processes.
They both influence each other. For example:
1. You feel cold, so you put more layers on

Define behavioural processes
The observable actions made by a living person or an action. It is the way one conducts oneself in their reactions, actions and functioning in response to everyday environment
Define Mental Proccesses
The experience that occurs within an individual that cannot directly be observed. It is sensations and feelings. For example:
1. Tiredness
2. Fear
3. Grief
How are mental processes and behaviour linked? Give examples.

Eg 1) You feel cold (mental) so you put a jumper on (behaviour)
