What is the treatment of papillary adenoma?
- THyrodectomy
- Node resection
- Radioactive iodine
- Thyroxine for life
What is the treatment of Folicular adenoma?
- Throdectomy
What is the treatment of Medullary adenoma?
- Thryoidectomy
- Node resection
- +/- radiotherapy
What is the treatment of anapaestic adenoma?
thyroid removal and radiotherapy

- TFTs
- Calcitonin (calcitonin is made by C cells in the thyroid and can be raised in medullary thyroid cancer)
- CAE (tumour marker)
- TPO (for AI thyroid disease)
