Dishonesty - for example, did the shoplifter have the means to pay prior to entering the shop?

Appropriate - taking ownership and assuming the rights as the owner

Property - an item or land, money, real or tangible

The act of this is the action of the crime, actually doing it

1 ask them
2 finding them with tools after, before or during the incident
3 seeing the history of the person, actions that have happened to support preparing to commit the crime
What is the theft act 1968?
To dishonestly appropriate property belonging to another with the intention to permanently deprive
