What is code c of pace and relevant comments?

A

Provides information around relevant comments. This is anything to do with the offence that is mentioned.

For example “I was at home with my partner, it can’t be me”

A

Note it on the MDT, sign it yourself and date and time this, this also needs to be signed by the suspect.

What is a significant statement?

A

Anything that can be used against the suspect, it could be the fact they remain silence. This is anything in the hearing of an officer.

An example is “yes, I done it”. Record and sign on the MDT.

A

You record the wording, date, time, location and sign it yourself and get them to sign it.
