palmar radiocarpal ligament -
palmar ulnocarpal ligament - ulna styloid process and spreads across capitate, lunate, triquetrum
muscles that flex the wrist
flexor carpi ulnaris - medial epicondyle of humerus to base of 5th metacarpal (ulnar nerve C7,C8,T1)
Flexor carpi radialis - medial epicondyle to base of 2nd and 3rd metacarpal (median nerve C6,C7,C8)
palmaris longus - medial epicondyle to aponeurosis (median hand C6-C8, T1)
muscles that extend the wrist
extensor carpi radialis longus - lateral epicondyle to base of 2nd metacarpal (radial C5,6,7,8)
extensor carpi radialis brevis - lateral epicondyle to base of 3rd metacarpal (radial nerve C5,6,7,8)
extensor carpi ulnaris - lateral epicondyle to base of 5th metacarpal ( branch of radial nerve PIN)
