  • In 1794 Admiral Lord Howe destroyed 22 age ships which weakened the Fr navy early in the war
  • 1798 Nelson destroyed Fr fleet in Egypt preventing Fr from interfering with Br colonial war in India or gaining power in east Mediterranean which would cut of Br roots to India

1805 Trafalgar was main one as they were able to keep resistance as well as blockading France and suppling Br forces in Spain
