How was the Terror state operated?
A
-the Gestapo spies inform on you and then you are woken in the middle of the night and arrested
-then days or weeks later you are asked to sign form D11 which means you are giving consent to be put in a concentration camp
-then you are released after around 6 months
-this would cause a spread of fear around Germany and help Nazis keep in control over Germany
-they encouraged people to spy on others which meant that this system stayed in place and was a never ending cycle of fear
